Award-winning communication strategist Tonya Scholz spearheads innovative campaigns using emerging technologies.
As founder of kNOw-AGING in 2006, Scholz demonstrated thought leadership by championing social media marketing in 2007 and live streaming in 2009, leading her to launch the weekday talk show Social Chats in 2010.
As of 2022, Scholz has gained expertise in the metaverse and integrated artificial intelligence into her work. She has been using the WEB 3.0 platform to promote art, music, and film since 2021.
Having evolved with the digital landscape for decades, Scholz is an innovative leader with forward-looking abilities. Since 2007, she has been president on and off for the Association for Women in Communications South Florida Chapter and developed new initiatives for 2023. She hosts the long-running show Social Chats and editor of her forthcoming digital magazine #SocialChatsMag.
Her ability to craft compelling stories and understand emerging media makes her a leading futurist in her field. Scholz is passionate about getting to know people and making connections across communication channels.
April W. Klimley is an art critic and journalist who has spent many years writing about art from modern Chinese artists in Taiwan to installation and ceramic sculptural exhibitions in South Florida. April covers the art scene for the Palm Beach Post Arts Paper, Florida Weekly, and Art Districts-Florida. She also publishes April on the Art blog, which features outstanding regional artists, museum exhibitions, and gallery shows. In addition to her writing, April teaches English composition at Palm Beach State at Lake Worth, FL., where she serves on the District Diversity Council. Her textbook on English developmental composition, Ready to Write, Right Now, is due to be published by Kendall Hunt this August.
